WHAT YOU WILL DO:

The Padres de Crianza is an exempt position responsible for ensuring the Program meets all contract requirements and metrics, overseeing all cases under the Program, and monitoring service progress. The Program Manager is responsible for representing the Program to the system of care to secure community partnership and support.

Supervisor Responsibilities:

  • Oversees Community Navigators and Counselors
  • Provide crisis management supervision to staff

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Complete monthly case and professional supervision with staff
  • Screen case referrals for appropriateness of service and assign to a staff member, including frequency of contacts.
  • Complete funder and agency reports
  • Liaise with the community to communicate Program goals and mission in an effort to promote service to referral sources
  • Review and edit all documentation submitted by staff to ensure quality of service provided
  • Manage the program budget, contract requirements, and meet fiscal year contract metrics
  • Direct case assignments to clinicians and navigators to ensure all case-related activities are conducted within the scope of the Program
  • Provide on-call services as assigned, abiding by the program's on-call policy and procedure
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

  • A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree is required in social work or a related area of study from an accredited college or university
  • Five (5) years of experience in managing the delivery of child welfare services
  • Counseling experience preferred, with the ability to demonstrate proficient skills in helping families resolve issues related to loss, crisis, emotional or behavioral disturbance, untreated mental health, substance abuse, violence, and any other related experience resulting in dysfunction in the home and maladaptive coping skills among family members
  • Experience providing direct client support services in a human service setting
  • Thorough knowledge of human development, counseling theories, and practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to provide clinical supervision to master's level clinicians.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Bilingual required, English and Spanish
  • Ability to work in the field as needed to support staff
  • Ability to work under stressful situations
  • Use of personal vehicle to transport self and clients as needed
  • Potential exposure to clients who may be verbally and/or physically aggressive
  • Potential exposure to communicable diseases
  • Conduct oneself in a professional manner with colleagues, peers, and clients
  • Use of personal vehicle to transport clients as needed
  • Must have a valid driver's license and auto insurance
