Job Description

We are looking for a talented individual…

To join as a Program Outreach Specialist! Responsible for engaging with key decision-makers to make energy saving improvements easier and more cost effective for Small Businesses by developing awareness and adoption of targeted energy efficient technologies.

Successful candidates must reside in San Antonio, Texas for frequent travel.

Frequent travel estimated as 2 weeks local to San Antonio, 1 week in the Valley, and 1 week in Northwest Texas.

You’re a great fit if you can...

  • Develop outreach tactics to assist in recruiting customers and trade allies.

  • Integrate program offerings into customer operations to improve customer service and satisfaction.

  • Recruit, train, educate and develop relationships with customers and trade allies to encourage effective marketing of programs.

  • Act as local, on-site program and company representative to customers and trade allies; to encourage participation in the program and overcome barriers.

  • Research’s the markets; accumulating data on customers and identifying the key allies to be targeted on behalf of the programs.

  • Perform event planning, coordination and presentations of programs.

  • Assist in building a base of “registered” trade allies specific to the specified programs.

  • Work in cooperation with other energy efficiency programs to move projects forward and follow-up on leads.

  • Prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly activity reports and track progress towards program goals.

  • Adhering to designated program budgets and allocated resources.

  • Identify improvement barriers and critical information to the Program Manager.

Exciting candidates will have…

  • Self-Motivation - Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledgeable in sales, outreach, and relationship-building.

  • 2-4 years of relative industry experience.

  • Minimum of 1 year of direct sales experience.

  • Post-secondary education preferred.

  • Must be fluently bilingual in Spanish and English.

Driving 

  • Are at least 21 years of age 

  • Valid driver's license in the state you are seeking employment in, with a driving record that meets CLEAResult’s minimum safety standard 

  • Company vehicle provided

Targeted Salary:

$65,000-$70,000

This is a safety-sensitive position and may include field work (such as work in industrial/commercial locations and customer homes), warehouse work, or requires driving on behalf of the company. Individuals provided a conditional offer of employment for this position must successfully pass a post-offer, pre-employment drug test and consent to the company obtaining a motor vehicle report evidencing a satisfactory driving record. Applicants for driving positions must hold a valid driver's license, and individuals provided a conditional offer of employment must successfully pass a drug test and maintain a clean driving record as an ongoing requirement for continued employment.

$50,755.00 - $74,400.00

Any offered salary is determined based on internal equity, internal salary ranges, market data/ranges, applicant’s skills and prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology), for example.
