We are looking for a Bilingual HR Specialist II to join our team onsite at our Birds Eye Foods manufacturing facility in Darien, WI. You will be onsite Monday - Friday during regular business hours.
As the Bilingual HR Specialist, reporting to the Plant HR Manager, you will provide workforce management, benefits, HR process information and guidance to employees, former employees, managers, and human resources partners. You will also work with HR partners and leadership for our more complex Human Resources transactions and provide functional support for multiple HR systems and policies.
What you will do
- Provide high touch customer service that meets expected service level goals through in person communication, telephone, email, and case management system.
- Provide employees and managers support for HR, payroll and benefits transactions.
- Coach employees on the use of self-service
- Provide follow up communication to customers to ensure satisfaction including documenting customer contact information and notes
- Process and enter accurate confidential employee information and changes in the HRIS (WorkDay), including new hires, terminations, promotions, salary changes, and leave of absences.
- Assist employees with self-service tools for benefit enrollments, direct deposits, general deductions, etc.
- Identify, suggest, document and implement ongoing process improvements.
- Assess inquiries or reported issues to determine best method of resolution
- Work collaboratively within a team to share ideas, ownership, and accountability for driving improvements and consistency of execution for important HR processes
- Identify and report any call trends or product trends to the Team Lead or Supervisor
- Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process knowledge
- Collect information to understand and assess employee needs and situation
What you'll bring
- High school diploma or equivalent and 3 years+ experience in HR-related field or Bachelor's degree in applicable field with relevant experience in HR
- Experience with Workday or other HRIS
- Bilingual in Spanish/English (fluent)
- The ability to maintain the confidentiality of sensitive information
- The ability to work in a change-filled environment with frequent interruptions

Compensation:
Pay Range:$49,000-$65,000The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
