The Opportunity:
As a Financial planning manager at LG Electronics (LGE), a global leader in electronics, you will play a pivotal role in compiling, organizing, analyzing, and interpreting statistical data related to Media Entertainment Solution operations. Operating independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, you will work under general supervision to prepare business reports for senior management, offering valuable insights for each project and task. Your responsibilities will include conducting operational analyses, gathering and evaluating data, and identifying trends to enhance departmental operations and project outcomes. This role emphasizes delivering actionable insights through data analysis, enabling the organization to respond effectively to business operation variances. By providing accurate operational forecasts, you will contribute to improving the quality of customer service and driving overall success.

Responsibilities:

  • Operating independently in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment, you will work under general supervision to prepare business reports for senior management, offering valuable insights for each project and task
  • This role emphasizes delivering actionable insights through data analysis, enabling the organization to respond effectively to business operation variances
  • Conduct cost/benefit analysis and/or break-even analysis for various assignments by Financial Planning (FP&A) Team leader to identify improvement opportunities
  • Build new/improving existing analyzing processes to ensure data integrity and efficient analyses
  • Your responsibilities will include conducting operational analyses, gathering and evaluating data, and identifying trends to enhance departmental operations and project outcomes
  • Provide financial analysis to prioritize and lead cost reduction efforts
  • Provide analytical support for staffing optimization initiatives
  • Create financial and cost models from scratch to complete sound recommendations
  • Analyze trends, formulating projections, and evaluating savings initiatives
  • Develop monthly/quarterly financial reporting (actual and forecast) and annual budgeting
  • Provide fact-based insights into variances and trends
  • Work with functional leaders and other finance functions to build scalable financial processes and metrics
  • Develop and continue to optimize relevant analytic and reporting tools.

Qualifications / Education / Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business, Statistics, or relevant field of study.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in business planning or data analytics/management or SCM or GTM

  • Korean – English Bilingual required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including skills in pivot tables, VLOOKUP, charts, tables, and trend analysis.
  • Results driven and problem-solving skills with strong ability to ambiguity and adapt to changing business requirements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills including effective writing and presentations skills, and ability to work with as well as influence senior level business partners.
  • Open-minded and ability to work with cross functional teams.





Recruiting Range
$110,000$160,000 USD
