Bilingual Content Creator (Arabic/English)

We are a remote-first team. Where you choose to work is up to you — we have an office in Dubai and Abu Dhabi that you can utilize as often or little as you'd like. 

We are seeking a talented and creative Bilingual Copywriter & Content Creator to join our team. This role involves crafting compelling copy in Arabic, managing social media content in both Arabic and English, translating news stories, newsletters, emails, and other communications. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of both Arabic and English, with exceptional writing and translation skills.

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, English Literature, or a related field.
• Creative thinker with a passion for storytelling and content creation.
• The desire to continuously grow and improve
• A knack for collaboration with others throughout the creative process
• Strong initiative - you bring ideas to the table, and can manage and prioritize your projects and deadlines
• Proven experience as a copywriter, content manager, or similar role.
• Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills in both Arabic and English.
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and best practices.
• Experience in translating content between Arabic and English with attention to detail and cultural sensitivity.
• Familiarity with SEO principles and digital marketing trends is a plus.

Some of what you'll do:

• Lead product translation projects from a content perspective
• Enhance our brand through great writing with a focus on website and in app content
• Performance media advertising copy that’s eye-catching and compelling
• Social advertising copy that follows the tone and best practice of each platform
• Be an all-around, cross-channel writing phenom, fluent in the language of the internet and pop culture at large, and be able to quickly read a trending hashtag, news story or cultural moment and identify where the brand opportunity is
• Bring clarity and humanity to financial language that too often confuses and intimidates people
• Write and edit engaging and persuasive copy in Arabic for various platforms including websites, social media, and marketing materials.
• Manage and create social media content in both Arabic and English, ensuring consistency and alignment with the brand voice and messaging.
• Translate news stories, newsletters, emails, and other communications from English to Arabic and vice versa, maintaining accuracy and cultural relevance.
• Stay updated with industry trends, cultural nuances, and best practices in content creation and translation.
• Proofread and review content to ensure high-quality standards are met.
• Assist in other writing, editing, and translation tasks as needed.
