We are currently looking for a Bilingual Analyst 1 Credit to join our team in Mississauga, Ontario (Hybrid) or Kirkland, Quebec (Remote)

POSITION SUMMARY

This role is responsible for reviewing and analyzing credit applications, performing data entry, answering dealer calls. Providing dealers with effective customer service. In some cases performing data entry for new and rehashed applications within a two hour turn around time.  Reviewing all contracts on hold in discounting. Providing the dealers with effective customer service via telephone or fax.

Job functions include but are not limited to:

  • Reviews, analyzes and makes decisions on all credit applications received.  Speaks with dealers when more information is required or when the application will be declined or conditioned.
  • Understanding and analysis of financial statements preferred.
  • Performs all investigation needed on credit applications (i.e. pulls bureaus, verifies fraud alerts, contacts banks and other credit institutions) in order to make an informed decision.
  • Using a call center telephone system answers all incoming dealer calls and makes outbound calls to the dealers when required.  

Who We’re Looking for:  

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1-3 years’ experience in retail or consumer credit (auto lending experience is an asset)
  • Ability to communicate with dealers, co-workers, managers and staff from other departments in a clear, professional, collaborative manner regarding their own and other Credit Analysts’ deals.
  • Interpersonal Skills, Complex Problem Solving, Decision-making abilities
  • Willingness to work a flexible work schedule in shifts (As early as 8:30 a.m. and as late as 10:00 p.m. EST) Saturdays will be included.
  • Proficiency with MS applications.
  • Bilingual French and English written and spoken is mandatory

Salary Range:

$59,550.00 - $73,162.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
