Key Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair battery systems in various locations
• Conduct routine maintenance checks and preventive maintenance tasks on battery systems to ensure optimal performance and longevity
• Diagnose technical issues with battery systems and implement effective solutions in a timely manner
• Collaborate with engineering and design teams to provide feedback on product performance and reliability
• Document all service activities, including installations, repairs, and maintenance tasks, accurately and comprehensively
• Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while working with battery systems and related equipment
• Communicate effectively with customers to address inquiries, provide technical support, and ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain inventory of spare parts and tools required for field service activities
• Keep abreast of industry developments and advancements in battery technology to enhance skills and knowledge

Skills Required

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or associate degree in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in battery technology, installation, maintenance, and repair
• Valid UAE bike license with a clean driving record; ability to ride a bike safely and confidently
• Strong mechanical aptitude and proficiency in using hand and power tools
• Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to analyse complex technical problems
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team
• Basic to good communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and colleagues
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor environments
• Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and travel to different locations as needed

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a field technician or in a similar role within the renewable energy or power systems industry
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations related to battery systems and electrical installations
• Proficiency in understanding and using phone applications
