Summary of position:
The BigFix Sales Specialist is an exciting new role within HCL’s fast-growing $1B+ software business. The BigFix Sales Specialist will capitalize on ever-increasing demand for BigFix, the premier endpoint security management platform which HCL recently acquired. In this role, the candidate will collaborate routinely with Clients, Resellers, BigFix Technical Advisors, HCL Client Success teams and HCL Channels teams. This is a full time exempt, salaried position, can be based in Mexico, Brazil or Argentina or US where you’ll have the opportunity to make an immediate impact while on the ground floor of something exciting!
Core Responsibilities:
· Exceed assigned targets for new software sales and renewals
· Present BigFix unique business value, client successes, competitive differentiators
· Represent BigFix at local Industry Conferences and User Group meetings
· Contribute to creating and executing regional sales plays
· Engage BigFix GEO and Global Leadership to increase customer advocacy and progress deals
Bonus Criteria
· Exceed assigned software, services and renewals sales targets
· Maintain customer retention
· Add X new logos annually
US Locations: New York, California, Canada, South-East (Mid Atlanta), Texas, Midwest
LATAM Locations: Brazil, Mexico, Argentina
Required Experience:
- Bachelor's/Undergraduate degree
- Five (5) or more years of proven sales track record in the technology sector and be confident discussing both general and specific security issues.
- Knowledge of the US/LATAM territory in terms of relevant industries, clients and business partners
- Proven Track record of consistent pipeline and revenue growth
- Demonstrated ability to establish and build rapport in senior customer relationships
- Strong business acumen and technical knowledge to succinctly align customer needs with the BigFix value proposition
- Proven ability to respectfully engage multiple functional areas across an organization
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to keep it simple
- Personal goal setting, time management, and drive to succeed
- Integrity, humility, team-orientation, and drive for performance
- Candidate would initially be handling the entire territory requiring extensive travel
- Strong Written and Verbal communications skills are critical as this person will be interfacing diverse technical and business audiences
- Consultative approach to help economic buyers, IT Operations and/or Security teams reduce costs and increase efficiencies
- Must speak local languages for LATAM market
Preferred Background:
- ITSM Tools (BMC, RedHat, Chef, Puppet, Ivanti, etc).
- Endpoint Security Tools (Tanium, CarbonBlack, McAfee, Symantec, CrowdStrike, Cyberreason, etc).
Travel:
- 50 % across assigned regions
