The Recruiter is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. This will be achieved through the development of local and national recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas. The Recruiter will play a critical role in ensuring ARH is attracting the best possible talent.
Special InstructionsThis position is responsible for Recruitment in the Big Sandy service Region, and will be based out of the Hazard System Center Office. The Big Sandy Region consists of 6 hospitals; Martin, McDowell, Morgan County, Highlands, Paintsville, and Tug Valley. Responsibilities- Recruit for all positions system wide.
- Conduct recruitment activities including but not limited to: writing and placing of advertisements, posting positions on ARH's Intranet and Internet, reviewing resumes, screening applications over the phone, coordinating search through employment agencies, coordinating and conducting interviews, adminstering tests to applicants, and checking references.
- Partner with Leaders to forrecast and develop plans for key staffing initiatives.
- Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate criteria.
- Partner with Hiring Managers and Local HR to maximize effectiveness of recruiting process.
- Track and report key metrics designed to measure and predict staffing activity and effectiveness of recruitment efforts.
- Regular follow up with respective hiring managers and candidates ensure timeliness of recruitment process.
- Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects.
- Develop and execute a personal time management plan.
- Other HR related duties as assigned by the System Director Human Resources, Strategic Initiatives and or designee.
- Perform other duties as required.
Preferred Education
- Two (2) years of college coursework from an accredited college or university preferred.
- Two (2) years of staffing/recruitment experience preferred.
- Experience in general Human Resources functions preferred.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including grammar, punctuation, and style.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and team-based project experience.
- Ability to remain flexible and prioritize daily responsibilities.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure with time constraints.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- In-depth knowledge of data mining and internet research.
