Job Description: Lead Snowflake Data Engineer (7-11 Years Experience) About the Role We are looking for a Lead Snowflake Data Engineer with 7 to 11 years of experience. You will lead the design, development, and management of data solutions using Snowflake. Your work will help our teams access and use data efficiently to drive business decisions. Responsibility • Lead the building and maintenance of data pipelines and warehouses on Snowflake. • Design solutions that are scalable, secure, and easy to manage. • Work with other teams to understand their data needs and provide the right data solutions. • Guide and support other data engineers to deliver high-quality work. • Optimize data processes to improve performance and reduce costs. • Ensure data quality, security, and compliance with company policies. • Stay updated on Snowflake features and best practices to keep our data platform modern. • Document your work clearly so others can understand and use it. Experience • 5 to 8 years of experience working as a data engineer, with strong focus on Snowflake, dbt & ELT/ETL tool such as Fivetran. • Deep knowledge of Snowflake platform and its tools. • Strong skills in SQL and data pipeline development. • Experience leading or mentoring a team. • Good understanding of data governance and security. • Excellent communication and teamwork skills. • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field. Nice to Have • Certifications in Snowflake or cloud data engineering. • Experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. • Knowledge of automation and scripting.
