Iron Mountain is seeking a dynamic German Speaking Bid Writer to join our Bid Team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the creation of persuasive, high-impact bid responses for both commercial and public sector clients. You will be part of a collaborative, high-performing bid team dedicated to driving business growth by shaping proposals that secure exciting opportunities. This is a remote position that offers flexibility and is part of a global, innovative team.
What You'll Do (Core Responsibilities)
In this role, you will:
- Lead Proposal Development: Plan, draft, and deliver professional, persuasive bid responses that align precisely with customer needs, win themes, and evaluation criteria, showcasing the value and impact of Iron Mountain's solutions.
- Collaborate Widely for Outcome: Work closely with Bid Managers, Bid Coordinators, and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the business to storyboard, refine, and strengthen proposals, transforming complex information into clear, compelling customer stories.
- Ensure Content Excellence and Compliance: Edit and polish all stakeholder inputs to ensure a consistent voice, clear messaging, and standout presentation, while ensuring the proposal aligns with organizational standards and policies.
What You'll Bring (Skills & Qualifications)
The ideal candidate will have:
- Several years of experience in bid writing, ideally spanning both public and commercial sector proposals.
- Strong knowledge of crafting persuasive content with exceptional English proficiency and fluency in German.
- Proven ability in analytical and conceptual skills, able to distill complex solutions into clear, customer-focused benefits, and collaborate with stakeholders from technical experts to senior leadership.
- A degree in English, Communications, or a related field, with proven writing expertise and a passion for persuasive storytelling.
