The GCON Way

GCON Inc. is headquartered in Phoenix, AZ, with a national presence and teams across Oregon, New Mexico, and California. We are builders driven by innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Our core values—Unconventional Thinking, Value Delivery, Set a New Standard, Continuous Improvement, and Stewardship—guide everything we do. Through leadership development programs, career growth opportunities, and a culture centered on inclusion and belonging, we invest in our people as much as our projects.

About the Role

GCON is looking for an Estimating Coordinator who thrives on being the person that keeps everything moving. In this role, you won’t just support the estimating team—you’ll be at the center of it, helping drive the pace, clarity, and organization behind every bid we pursue. From coordinating with trade partners to keeping critical timelines on track, your work will directly impact our ability to win projects and build strong partnerships.

We’re looking for someone who naturally takes ownership, stays a step ahead, and keeps projects moving without needing to be prompted. If you’re highly organized, detail-driven, and confident picking up the phone to get answers, this role offers the opportunity to become a central force in our bidding operations.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with trade partners through proactive outreach

  • Identify gaps, inconsistencies, or missing information and escalate when needed

  • Continuously look for ways to improve processes and support team efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5-7 years of estimating coordination experience

  • Prior estimating experience with a General Contractor

  • Proficiency with BuildingConnected

  • Proficiency with Bluebeam

  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word)

Key Skills & Traits

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously

  • Process-oriented, but confident stepping in when something doesn’t add up

  • Proactive mindset; identifies what needs to be done and takes initiative

  • Comfortable engaging directly with partners via phone and email

  • Strong sense of ownership and accountability in day-to-day responsibilities
