The Bid Manager will be responsible for setting up, coordinating and achieving the required reviews to enable submission of the Outline and Detailed Modernisation Plans to the Royal Navy. This includes identifying and organising the reviews necessary to achieve Capita’s internal commercial and financial governance gates and supporting the successful release of the proposal.
The postholder will work closely with the Epoch 3 proposal development team in Selborne and Capita functional teams including Finance, Commercial and Growth, ensuring stakeholders understand the review input required to support a successful Deal Approval Board for the proposals.

What you’ll be doing
- Develop and manage the plan for submitting the Outline and Detailed Modernisation Plans to the Royal Navy.
- Keep the team focused on meeting key deadlines and submission dates.
- Coordinate reviews and approval stages to secure Deal Approval Board sign-off.
- Organise and lead stakeholder meetings, ensuring required approvals are obtained.
- Ensure all supporting documents and evidence are completed and available.
- Review proposed solutions and plans to ensure they meet requirements.
- Manage quality reviews of supplier proposals and modernisation plan documents.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders and ensure they understand their required inputs.
