About the job

As a Bid Manager in our BU GPHE Process Sales, you will play a pivotal role in driving and owning the quotation process for our GPHE project business worldwide.

Your main focus will be on ensuring competitiveness and customer satisfaction by coordinating and managing international, cross-functional virtual bid teams. These teams will consist of key players such as Sales responsible, Global Application Managers, Bid Engineers, Global sourcing, S&OP, and various subject matter experts.

You will secure the right prioritization for tasks and projects, ensuring that the most critical and impactful work is addressed first.

Participation in and coordination of clarification meetings will be another key aspect of your job. Your ability to communicate effectively and facilitate these discussions both internally and with the clients will be vital to the success of the projects.

Additionally, you will be responsible for preparing transparent cost calculations using a global template, always with a focus on maintaining and enhancing our competitiveness in the market.

About you

You are a seasoned and highly independent professional with a strong engineering background, ideally in mechanical or chemical. With at least five years of experience in a similar technical sales position with a solid knowledge of GPHE product competence in energy applications. 

Your proactive nature, flexibility, and ability to multitask enable you to prioritize effectively based on customer requirements and lead times. You have cross-cultural awareness and can form strong working relationships both internally and within sales companies.
