Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the assigned Sales organization (division and market) and customers during the proposal process. Each day, you will serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by preparing technical descriptions of the products and technology, determining costs, and preparing final documentation.
The work model for the role is: hybrid.
This role is contributing to the Medium Voltage Switchgear business within the Electrification Distribution Solutions division in Switzerland.
You will be mainly accountable for
Coordinating quote requests and deadlines as well as conducting procurement negotiations with suppliers during the tendering phase
Analyzing and evaluating requests, specifications and tenders from technical and commercial perspectives
Defining sales strategies and designing product configurations based on customer requirements in collaboration with sales, engineering and project management
Creating commercial and technical quote documentation, including detailed description of products and services
Qualifications for the role
You hold a degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field, or a higher professional qualification in engineering (e.g. Höhere Fachschule, Fachhochschule)
You are captivated by independent, flexible and customer-oriented working style
You are at ease communicating in French and English (German is an advantage)
You are passionate about finding the right sales strategies and products based on customer needs
Proven experience of cost calculations
You are a reliable team player and personality with integrity

Votre rôle et vos responsabilités
Dans ce poste de Bid & Proposal Engineer – Distribution moyenne tension - vous jouez un rôle central dans le processus commercial des solutions moyenne tension. Vous collaborez étroitement avec les équipes de vente, nos fournisseurs et nos clients tout au long des phases de consultation et d’appel d’offres.
Vous contribuez directement à la qualité et à la compétitivité de nos offres en combinant expertise technique, sens commercial et rigueur d’exécution.
Le modèle de travail pour ce rôle est: hybride.
Ce rôle contribue activement au développement de la base installée moyenne tension chez nos clients au sein de la division Distribution Solutions – ABB Electrification Suisse.
Vos principales responsabilités
Coordonner les demandes d’offres et assurer le respect des délais tout au long du processus d’appel d’offres
Analyser les cahiers des charges, spécifications techniques et exigences clients sous les angles technique et commercial, et sélectionner les solutions et produits les plus adaptés en fonction des besoins clients et du portefeuille de solutions
Définir les stratégies d’offre en collaboration avec les équipes commerciales, d’ingénierie et de gestion de projet, et mener les négociations avec les fournisseurs durant la phase d’offre
Réaliser les calculs des coûts et structurer la documentation technique et commerciale des offres (descriptions produits, services, livrables)
Votre profil
Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme en génie électrique ou d’une formation équivalente (HES, école d’ingénieurs ou formation technique supérieure)
Expérience confirmée en environnement technique industriel, idéalement dans la gestion d’offres ou de projets
Vous faites preuve d’autonomie, de flexibilité et d’une forte orientation client
Excellentes compétences en communication en français et en anglais (l’allemand est un atout)
Vous êtes passionné(e) par l’analyse et la sélection de stratégies commerciales et de solutions en fonction des besoins clients
Bonne maîtrise des calculs de coûts et de la structuration d’offres techniques
Vous possédez un esprit d’équipe, de la fiabilité et une grande intégrité professionnelle
