The opportunity
Hitachi Energy has been leading the development, manufacturing, and supply of dry-type transformers for more than 40 years - with path-leading technological innovation. Hitachi Energy offers a full range of dry-type transformers with primary voltages of 72.5 kV built according to all major standards, including IEC and ANSI.
Create technical tenders for dry-type transformers plus inductors according to customer specifications. The secondary objective is to provide sales and customers with a medium level of technical/commercial support and act as a link between sales and engineering.
How you’ll make an impact

Very good technical specification understanding

Tender ownership, interact with customers to clarify all technical aspects to propose customized or alternative solutions

Support other dry transformer bid and proposal team from other factories during peak load

Compile tender data required to build a successful customer tender

Work with various tools used for data entry to provide end to end deal lifecycle visibility

Work in complex functional matrix organization and take accountability for your work

Maintain internal and external communication with various stakeholders
Your Background
-
Preferably experience in tendering
-
A Degree in Engineering is preferred but not a must-have
-
Fluent in Italian and English

Experience with Transformers is a big plus

Ability to operate in a multicultural environment

Very good interpersonal and communication skills

Work under pressure and deadlines

Challenge the status-quo

Knowledge of tools such as Excel (VBA), Saleforce and SAP is a plus
