Job Vacancy: BI Solution Executive
Job Purpose
The BI Solution Executive is responsible for shaping how BI solutions are built and governed at MCB, while working hands-on with stakeholders to translate business needs into high quality data products and dashboards, analytics solutions, and insights aligned with the bank’s data strategy and governance principles.
Beyond delivery, you will actively contribute to building BI capability and data literacy across the organisation — helping colleagues use data with confidence and purpose.
In this role, you will:
- Define and embed BI standards, frameworks, architectures, and best practices across MCB, aligned with Data Governance principles;
- Act as a trusted BI subject matter expert, advising business stakeholders on the design, implementation, and effective use of BI solutions;
- Assess, integrate, and govern data from multiple sources into data products to ensure accuracy, completeness, and analytical robustness prior to solution development;
- Design, develop, test, and deploy scalable, future proof BI solutions and dashboards that deliver reproducible, decision driven insights using modern BI tools and technologies;
- Translate business needs into actionable BI use cases by gathering, analysing, and refining requirements in partnership with business units and the BI Centre of Excellence ;
- Build strong, trusted relationships with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver high quality BI products aligned with business strategy and priorities ;
- Drive organisational BI capability and data literacy by identifying skill gaps and designing, facilitating, and promoting BI training, workshops, and knowledge sharing communities ;
- Prepare and deliver compelling materials, presentations, and sessions to support BI adoption, engagement, and change ;
- Continuously enhance personal expertise by staying current with emerging BI technologies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices.

We are looking for a candidate who has a minimum of:
Either
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Engineering, or a related field;
- 5 years’ experience in Business Intelligence and/or data modelling, including designing end‑to‑end BI solutions, working with complex enterprise data sets;
- Strong experience with dashboarding and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Tableau)
Or
- Diploma or equivalent in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Computing, Engineering, or a related field;
- 7 years’ experience in Business Intelligence or data modelling;
Strong experience with dashboarding and data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Cognos, Tableau)
