Job Description

In collaboration with the director, the person contributes to the design and evolution of digital analytics data solutions, leveraging Google Analytics (GA4) data to support marketing initiatives, customer experience, and web and mobile platform performance.

Responsibilities

  • Design, plan and implement BI solutions (batch and streaming) to collect, transform and load GA4 analytical data;
  • Structure, model, and document GA4 event-based data (web and mobile) to support analysis, visualization, and decision-making;
  • Collaborate closely with the digital performance analyst to ensure optimal configuration of analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager);
  • Participate in the implementation of tracking solutions and advertising pixels (Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, Floodlight, etc.);
  • Work proactively with business and technology partners to understand needs and propose adapted BI solutions;
  • Provide strategic recommendations aligned with best practices and the analytics ecosystem;
  • Estimate effort required for various development phases of BI solutions;
  • Ensure support, maintenance, and optimization of BI solutions, including performance and cost management in BigQuery;
  • Support users in building reports and dashboards in Looker.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field;
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, including at least 3 years in BI development and digital analytics;
  • Strong knowledge of ETL/ELT concepts: historization, data modeling (star schema, data vault), lineage, and metadata management;
  • Experience with digital analytics environments (GA4, Google Tag Manager, tracking plans, UTM, attribution models) and privacy concepts (consent, cookies, GDPR);
  • Strong problem-solving skills, autonomy, and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams;
  • Excellent mastery of Google Cloud tools (BigQuery, Dataform, Looker, Fivetran);
  • Excellent command of MS Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams) and demonstrated ease with collaborative digital tools and AI (e.g., Copilot); ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies;
  • **Oral and written fluency in French and English ***
    A good knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec. The incumbent will be required to communicate and collaborate frequently in English, both orally and in writing, with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders in Quebec, the rest of Canada, and internationally.

Skills Required
