The opportunity

As our Sales Operations Business Analyst, you will transform complex commercial data into clear, actionable insights by developing and maintaining Power BI reporting and analytics solutions.

Reporting to the Sales Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting Category, Commercial, Marketing, Finance and S&OP teams with high-quality reporting, data analysis and business intelligence that drives performance visibility and commercial growth.

This role is ideal for someone with strong Power BI, SQL and business analysis skills, commercial acumen, and experience working with FMCG data and cross-functional stakeholders.

Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Own and maintain the Pacific Power BI reporting suite across Sales and Category, ensuring reporting is accurate, intuitive and fit for purpose.

  • Transform scan, transaction, ex-factory and field sales data into meaningful dashboards, reports and insights that support business decision-making.

  • Partner with stakeholders to scope business and functional requirements, identify opportunities, and translate business needs into technical solutions.

  • Support data quality, governance and lifecycle management, including troubleshooting issues, root-cause analysis and continuous improvement of reporting assets.

  • Champion innovation and AI adoption across reporting and analytics workflows, helping the business identify efficiencies and new commercial opportunities.

What you will bring to the role

  • Proficiency in Power BI, ranging from intermediate to advanced levels

  • Intermediate proficiency in SQL

  • Strong understanding of FMCG commercial data, including scan, category, finance and sales datasets

  • Demonstrated ability to build, maintain and resolve complex dashboards and reporting solutions with multiple data sources

  • Cross-functional know-how, with strong commercial awareness and the ability to work effectively across Category, Marketing, Commercial and Finance team
