We are currently hiring a BI Developer II in Boston, MA.
The BI Developer II role drives business insights at BBC by delivering dashboards, reports, and semantic models on the Power BI platform. This role combines business intelligence development with a consultative approach, partnering with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver scalable analytics solutions aligned to business objectives. Within the Power BI Center of Excellence (COE), the role promotes best practices and supports self-service analytics through documentation, coaching, and user enablement. It also contributes to data preparation and modeling to ensure data quality and performance, while supporting enterprise BI platforms by maintaining reliability, troubleshooting issues, and responding to user needs.
What You'll Brew:
• Partner with stakeholders to define analytics requirements and deliver dashboards, semantic models, and data analytics products aligned to business objectives
• Support data modeling and transformation activities to ensure data quality, performance, and well-structured semantic models
• Promote best practices and provide coaching, documentation, and training to support adoption of self-service analytics through the Power BI COE
• Support enterprise BI platforms by troubleshooting data, reporting, and platform issues, and contributing to performance improvements
• Ensure analytics solutions follow governance and security standards, including adherence to enterprise policies and access controls
• Provide responsive user support, identify opportunities to improve processes and automate workflows, and serve as backup for IT Data & Analytics team members as needed
What Ingredients You'll Bring:
• 2+ years of professional experience within the Data & Analytics space
• 1+ years of Power BI experience, including semantic modeling and visualization
• 1+ year of experience with SQL and data transformation workflows
• Experience in a customer-facing role working with end users on requirements, coaching, and training
Desired Experience:
• Experience support enterprise solutions for Corporate & Sales functional areas
• Experience with programming languages such as Python
Additional Skills:
• Strong understanding of semantic data modeling, DAX, and BI best practices, with experience working in Power BI and structured data environments
• Ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights that support business decision-making
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders
• Curiosity and interest in emerging analytics technologies, including AI and automation, with a willingness to learn and apply new capabilities

At the Boston Beer Company and in accordance with pay transparency laws, we are open about our salary ranges. For this role, the salary range is between $77,000 and $132,000. However, it’s important to note that where the person hired starts in this range is dependent on their related experience, skillset and location. Additionally, this position qualifies for a discretionary annual bonus based on company and individual performance, and certain sales roles might include a car allowance.
