Work location: Campinas, SP
Responsibilities:
- Provide visibility into platform costs by creating comprehensive, insightful reports and dashboards.
- Conduct advanced data analysis, clustering, and statistical modeling to address specific platform-related questions, extract insights, and identify predictive patterns from large datasets.
- Develop datasets/schemas by integrating data from multiple sources, including internal databases, analytics tools, unstructured sources, and other external sources.
- Design and develop data visualizations using Power BI, focusing on creating compelling data narratives that cater to stakeholders' needs and drive informed decision-making.
- Offer contributions to the design and usability of dashboards, ensuring they are user-friendly and effectively communicate key insights to stakeholders.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields in data science and analytics.
- English is mandatory - will work with a global team.
- Strong analytical skills, problem-solving abilities, conceptual thinking, and a solid background in statistical analysis with a focus on data-driven solutions.
- Good understanding of statistical methods and concepts.
- Extensive knowledge of Fabric and/or Databricks is essential.
- Previous experience in data analysis, data science (in roles involving both quantitative and qualitative analysis).
- Expertise in database query and reporting tools (SQL + Power BI + DAX and M).
- Effective programming skills (Python, PySpark, SQL, NoSQL).
- Tableau will be considered a plus.
- Experience with financial cost reporting or in FinOps contexts will be a differential.
- FinOps certification is a plus but not mandatory.
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organization skills, with a general love for problem-solving.
- Ability to learn new methodologies, adapt to business needs, and prioritize business goals.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to execute decisions.
- Excellent documentation and organizational skills.
- An organized profile, with the ability to work autonomously, but knowing when to ask for help.
