For our group company, NKG Commercial Services Company Limited, we are looking for a BI (Business Intelligence) Data Analyst (f/m/d) based in Ho Chi Minh City (An Khanh Ward) and reporting to the Head of Product Development - Digital Operations.

This position is responsible for transforming raw data into meaningful insights that help organizations make informed business decisions. They typically work with databases, reporting tools, dashboards, and analytics platforms to identify trends, measure performance, and support strategic planning.

We are seeking a BI Analyst to support data-driven decision-making across commodity trading operations. The role involves developing dashboards, analyzing trading performance, monitoring market and risk metrics, and partnering with traders, risk managers, operations teams, and senior management.

Your responsibilities

1. Design and maintain BI dashboards for trading, risk, P&L, and operational reporting. 
2. Analyze trading performance, positions, exposures, and profitability. 
3. Develop reports covering: 

• Daily and monthly P&L 

• Mark-to-market valuations 

• Trade lifecycle metrics 

• Inventory and logistics performance 

• Risk exposures and limits 

4. Integrate data from trading systems, market data providers, ERP systems, and data warehouses. 
5. Automate manual reporting processes and improve data quality. 
6. Monitor key market indicators and identify trends impacting trading performance. 
7. Support regulatory and compliance reporting requirements. 
8. Translate business requirements into analytical solutions and visualizations.

9. Other tasks are assigned by superiors.
Your profile

Language: English is a must (TOEIC or IELTS certificate)

Business Intelligence & Analytics

• Business intelligence reporting and dashboard development

• Data visualization and storytelling

• KPI design, monitoring, and performance analysis

• Data modeling and data warehousing

• ETL process design and optimization

• Ad hoc analysis and business reporting

• Data quality management and governance

Technical Skills

• Advanced SQL querying and performance tuning

• Proficiency in Power BI, QlickView, or similar BI tools

• Python or Spark for data analysis, automation, and reporting

• Database management and data integration

• Cloud data platforms and analytics solutions

Commodity Trading Knowledge (nice-to-have)

• Understanding of commodity trading lifecycle

• Physical and financial commodity markets

• Trade capture, confirmation, and settlement processes

• Position management and exposure analysis

• Mark-to-market valuation concepts

• Profit & Loss (P&L) reporting and attribution

• Hedging and risk management principles
