Responsibilities

What you'll be able to do:

BI Consultant - positions offered by Ford Motor Company (Dearborn, Michigan). Note, this is a hybrid position whereby the employee will work both from home and from the aforementioned worksite. Hence, the employee must live within a reasonable commuting distance from the worksite.  Design and develop new models on MDM SaaS, a modernized Master Data Management (MDM) platform. Develop strategy plan and execute/implement migration from MDM on-prem to MDM SaaS for the whole enterprise. Drive adoption and on-board new applications to use MDM. Consult for MDM configuration/development within Ford at the enterprise level and problem solve on MDM development/configuration at the application layer. Perform system design and code review. Perform performance tuning, conduct Proof of Concepts on new capabilities and integration, and develop reusable components and standard methodologies. Support MDM upgrades at the application layer, provide tool selection mentorship, and share knowledge, promote learning, and build the MDM community. 

Qualifications

You'll have…

Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or a related field and 10 years of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.   6 years of experience with each of the following skills is required: 1. Designing, configuring, and developing Master Data Management (MDM) applications using on premise components HUB Console, Provisioning tool, Entity 360, SIF and User exists.  2 years of experience with each of the following skills is required:  1. Designing, configuring, and developing MDM SaaS using IDMC Services including IICS CDI and CAI, Business 360, Reference 360, Multi Domain GUI, AND Customer 360. 2. Design and develop new models on the MDM SaaS platform and migrate existing MDM solutions to modernized MDM - SaaS plat form. 3. Develop the solutions to integrate applications using API calls and DI. 4. Utilizing Jenkins for continuous integration and multi-cloud continuous delivery to develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automate the testing and deployment process. 5. Designing and implementing large-scale distributed system in a cloud-native environment. 6. Utilizing NoSQL and SQL database technologies and databases including MongoDB, MySQL or data modeling. 7. Develop the data pipelines using Cloud Services including Google Tekton, Looker and Cloud Data Fusion. API integration, BigQuery, GCP GCS, PostGreSQL, and MangoDB. 8. Developing the database scripts, functions and queries for SQL and NoSQL databases.

We are offering a salary of $138,486.00 - $184,135.20/yr.
