Job Mission

Your mission is to support, develop, and maintain BI assets to improve insight delivery and decision-making. 

Reporting to: BI Operations Lead

Direct Report: Junior BI, BI Intern

Key Responsibilities: 

• Provide analysis and insights to business stakeholders to support data-driven decision-making. 
  
• Work with the BI central team to develop, grow, and maintain BI assets (Git repositories, Python codebase, Databases/Schema, Servers, etc.)
  
• Create and maintain PowerBI dashboards and reports to ensure stakeholders have access to relevant and meaningful insights 
  
• Contribute to knowledge sharing to ensure all business intelligence stakeholders have adequate documentation and training. 
  
• Provide ad-hoc support relating to data extraction and reporting. 
  
• Own the CRM through customization, maintenance, business requests, and optimization for data gathering and reporting, and ensure adherence to best practices. 
  
• Proactively identify trends that can help other business Stakeholders make business decisions to modernize and improve processes.
  
• Provide monthly, quarterly & weekly reports on business performance 
  

Technical: 

• Maintain/provide technical support in terms of code for the development of dashboards, KPIs, reports, and other analytical artifacts that expose key business insights into customers, products, marketing, and operations. 
  
• Work closely with the BI Operations Lead to ensure data model and code definitions are aligned across TATC and with business definitions. 
  
• Play a key role in data cleansing and mining, as well as highlighting anomalies. 
  

Management: 

Guiding and training the BI intern/Junior BI into the business analyst role through technical training, how to communicate with stakeholders, and meet BI deliverables. 

Your profile:

• You are passionate about data and the impact it drives in the real world 
  
• You have proven experience with data analytics and insight generation. 
  
• You are familiar with data extraction, cleansing, and transformation processes. 
  
• You have experience with sales CRMs and other productivity tools for operational teams (e.g. Zoho Recruit) 
  
• You are comfortable with mid-level SQL code. 
  
• You have experience deriving important data metrics and KPIs to measure business health, performance, etc. 
  
• You have worked with BI visualization tools e.g. PowerBi, Tableau, or Zoho analytics, Data studio
  
• You have a proven track record in driving data automation and defining processes. 
  
• You can comfortably communicate data insights to stakeholders 
  
• You have 3 + years of experience in data analytics 
  

Added advantage:

• Prior experience in report writing, data analysis, or statistical interpretation. 
  
• Familiarity with PL/SQL and stored procedures. 
  
• Experience using PowerBI.
