Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Data Analysis:
    • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and insights that can drive business decisions.
    • Work with business users to define key metrics and provide analytical support.
  2. Report Creation:
    • Design and develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools to visualize business performance.
    • Ensure that reports are user-friendly and meet the needs of stakeholders.
  3. Data Management:
    • Collaborate with data teams to ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency.
    • Help maintain and improve data pipelines and integrations.
  4. Business Requirements:
    • Engage with business stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical specifications.
    • Develop BI solutions that align with business goals.
  5. Performance Monitoring:
    • Track key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor business performance.
    • Identify trends and areas for improvement based on data analysis.
  6. Presentation:
    • Present findings and actionable insights to senior management and other stakeholders.
    • Use visualizations and clear explanations to make complex data accessible and understandable.
  7. Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay updated with the latest BI tools, technologies, and best practices.
    • Look for opportunities to enhance BI processes, tools, and reporting methodologies.

Qualifications of the Role:

  • Education:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
    • Advanced Degree or Certifications: Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional) are a plus.
  • Experience:
    • 5-7 years of experience in business intelligence and data analysis.
    • Proven experience in designing and creating data-driven reports and dashboards, and working with cross-functional teams to meet business needs.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Microsoft BI Tools: Proficiency in tools such as Power BI, SSRS, SSAS, SSIS.
    • SQL: Strong knowledge of SQL and data querying techniques.
    • Cloud Computing: Familiarity with cloud platforms and how they integrate with BI solutions.
    • Data Warehousing & ETL: Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes and working in a data warehousing environment.
    • Data Visualization: Strong knowledge of data visualization principles and techniques to create clear, actionable reports and dashboards.
  • Analytical & Problem-Solving Abilities:
    • Strong ability to analyze complex datasets and provide actionable insights.
    • Adept at identifying trends, patterns, and areas for business improvement.
  • Communication Skills:
    • Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex data insights clearly and in a visually engaging manner.
    • Ability to explain data findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
