The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a full-time Business Intelligence Analyst/Developer to join our growing team to assist with the exciting projects that are in line with the company growth strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Work within our national Project Controls team to help deliver Business Intelligence solutions:
Develop custom Power BI visuals for use in Power BI, and, SharePoint
Develop custom Power Apps in conjunction with Power BI
Developing reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI
Design, develop, test, and deploy Power BI scripts and perform detailed analytics
Provide training and instruction to users, as required, to facilitate understanding of the BI reporting tools and functionality in support of the implementation process
Design data models to transform raw data; connect data sources, import data, and transform data
Understand business requirements in BI context
Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set
Required Skills and Competencies
Microsoft Business Intelligence Stack (Power BI, SSAS, SSRS, SSIS, SSMS)
Development with Power BI and Power Apps
Developing database queries on existing SQL Server Databases, for example Azure SQL Database,
Strong experience coding in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g. C#.NET, VB.NET, VBA, DAX, M Script or Python)
Testing and Validation of solutions, both self-review, and peer-review
