Job Description

We are seeking an America's Benefits Manager to join the Total Rewards COE. You will play a crucial role in executing the Global Benefits strategy and governance to ensure that Wise’s employee benefits across our global offices are compliant, competitive and aligned with Wise’s Total Rewards philosophy.  This is a great  opportunity to make sure that our benefits provisions are world class and that we attract, retain, engage and recognize the talent that make Wise move. We have ambitious plans for our  benefits offerings in Wise and are looking for the right person to take these forward and make an impact on Wisers.

What you’ll do:

  • Global Benefits Strategy Implementation: Support the execution of a comprehensive global benefits strategy that supports our business objectives and enhances employee awareness and engagement. Work with our Global Benefits Broker, Global Pension Consultant, Global Flexible Benefits Partner and local vendors to ensure our benefits framework and principles are  adhered to and optimized. 

  • Policy Development: Create, refine, and enforce benefits policies that are compliant with local regulations and aligned with global best practices. 

  • Vendor Management: Partner with benefits vendors and brokers to manage renewals, pricing, and contracts. Working proactively to troubleshoot issues before they become high scale problems impacting Wiser experience.

  • Benchmarking and Analysis: Conduct regular benchmarking and analysis to ensure our benefits packages remain competitive in all markets in line with the global benefits guiding principles.

  • Communication and Education: Work with our internal communication team to develop and deliver communication plans to educate employees about their benefits and how to maximise their value. 

  • Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the People team to ensure benefits programs support broader talent objectives, and partner with Finance on budgeting and cost control.

  • Cross-Functional Architecture: Design and maintain end-to-end data and flows between Rewards, People Ops, and Payroll to ensure seamless process mapping accuracy.

Qualifications

What you'll bring:

  • 8+ years of experience in benefits management, preferably in a global or multi-national organization.

  • Strong understanding of global benefits strategy, governance, and execution.

  • In-depth knowledge of America's regional benefits regulations, compliance requirements, and market practices.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage benefits vendors, brokers, and consultants, including contract negotiation and performance management.

  • Experience in policy development, refinement, and enforcement related to employee benefits.

  • Proficiency in benefits benchmarking and analysis to ensure competitive and market-aligned offerings.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively educate employees on benefits programs.

  • Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with People/HR teams, Finance, and cross-functional partners (e.g., Payroll, People Operations).

  • Experience designing and maintaining cross-functional data flows and process mapping between Rewards, People Operations, and Payroll.

  • Highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented with a focus on delivering world-class employee experience.

Hybrid Workspace
