Role Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and analytical Benefits Analyst to join our Global Benefits team. This role partners closely with the Global Benefits Director to support the administration, analysis, communication, and ongoing development of employee benefits programs across more than 60 countries.
The Benefits Analyst plays a key role in evaluating self-funded plan budgets and pricing, supporting plan design and renewals, assisting with vendor procurement initiatives, and helping deliver effective employee benefits communications. This position follows a hybrid work schedule, with employees working onsite four days per week at our Global Headquarters in Irving, Texas, and remotely on Fridays.
Role Responsibilities:
- Partner with the Global Benefits Director to support the development and execution of global benefits strategies and initiatives
- Assist with the analysis, pricing, and plan design of self-funded medical and pharmacy programs
- Support fully insured benefit plan designs, RFPs, and renewals, including data gathering, carrier proposal reviews, and renewal comparisons
- Coordinate with insurance carriers, brokers, consultants, TPAs, and internal stakeholders regarding benefit programs and renewals
- Analyze benefits utilization, enrollment, and claims data to support plan recommendations and cost management initiatives
- Develop and coordinate employee benefits communications, including open enrollment materials, presentations, FAQs, and ongoing education campaigns
- Support annual open enrollment activities and employee benefit education sessions
- Assist with benchmarking and market analysis to help ensure benefit offerings remain competitive
- Maintain accurate benefits documentation and support compliance with applicable laws and regulations, including ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, and other federal, state, and global requirements as applicable
- Respond to employee benefit inquiries and help resolve escalated issues
- Support vendor management activities and benefits-related projects as needed
- Prepare reports, presentations, and executive summaries for leadership review
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Finance, Business, or a related field preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in benefits, HR, finance, insurance, consulting, or related analytical roles
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and summarize data
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint required
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated interest in employee benefits strategy, healthcare plan design, and employee communications
Preferred:
- Experience with HRIS systems, benefits administration platforms, or healthcare analytics tools is a plus
- Exposure to self-funded health plans, fully insured renewals, or broker or carrier environments is preferred but not required
