Job Title: Benefit Systems Account Manager

Division: Group Services

Location: Columbia, SC or Charlotte, NC

Type: Full-Time; May be eligible for hybrid work schedule after successful completion of training

Hiring Range: $46,500 - $58,000 annual salary and is commensurate with directly applicable experience and/or direct industry experience

Our Benefit Systems Team works with Benefits Advisors to provide fast enrollment technology that is custom-tailored, simple, and user-friendly for clients. As a Benefit Systems Account Manager, you will manage enrolling cases and maintain relationships as the direct contact for agents and group administrators during benefit system case installations.

What Our Account Managers Do:

  • Collaborate and Communicate: develop and maintain relationships with advisors, group administrators, and TCG Sales Representatives in order to facilitate an excellent customer experience; identify and resolve concerns of advisors and group administrators ; serve as go-to resource for internal Group Operations departments
  • Coordinate and Consult: manage and organize all aspects of case setup and online enrollment processes; work with Implementation Specialists to test system; conduct system demonstrations with Advisors and Group Administrators before each enrollment release period
  • Educate: Debrief and train group administrators on navigating benefit system post-enrollment release-period

What We Are Looking For:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy along with compliance of deadlines while managing and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer services skills
  • Ability to work well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated proficiency in all parts of position within 9-12 months
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (including Excel, Outlook, and Teams) as well as working knowledge of Adobe and general knowledge of databases
