The benefit analyst position is responsible for directing the day-to-day operations of benefit programs for the US and international locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in leave administration and customer service. In this role you will work closely with employees, managers and HR to ensure a smooth leave experience.
Key Responsibilities
Responsible for, but not limited to:
- Manage all leave and time off programs for all Nordic locations (North America, Europe and Asia) including Workers Comp and workplace accommodations. Coordinate with third party leave administrator, company stakeholders, and coordinate with payroll for proper payroll processing.
- Stay abreast on leave laws and recommend policy changes as applicable.
- Coordinate and manage direct bill process for employees on leave and consulting population.
- Vendor management leave administration, COBRA vendor and others as necessary.
- Manage ACA process and project-based consultant population.
- Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefit processes.
- Assist in maintaining employee communications to include the external benefits website, and written communications in relation to the employee handbook and leave policies.
- Work on projects as necessary to include but not limited to open enrollment, vendor implementations, and acquisitions.
Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years of experience or 6 years without a degree.
- Proven ability to connect with a wide range of audiences and build quick rapport
- Prior experience with Workday preferred
- Experience managing leaves through a third-party administrator.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office products, including Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
- Adaptable and able to embrace the gray with a positive attitude
- Strong ability to maintain confidentiality
