About the role
Accountable for Market Logistics in Belgium and Luxembourg. Coordinates material movement between LSPs and customers, ensures efficient operations, compliance, and superior customer experience within budget. Drives process improvement, builds strategic relationships, and supports market transformation.
Main responsibilities
- Schedule, procure , store, and deliver products and samples, optimizing distribution channels.
- Manage LSPs and freight partners to meet business needs.
- Ensure regulatory compliance (GDP, GMP, FMD/ Serialisation , trade, EH&S, BCP, DG, Controlled, Global Security) to maintain the quality and integrity of the distribution supply chain .
- Oversee inventory, prevent stockouts, conduct audits, and manage write-offs.
- Use digital systems (SAP4H, WMS, IBP, SHARK/ PfISH , SupplyIQ ) and analytics/AI for automation and cost reduction.
- Apply Operational Excellence ( IMEx ) tools for process and cost improvements.
- Monitor and improve customer satisfaction, resolve issues, and gather feedback.
- Manage costs and budgets, implement cost-saving projects.
- Lead sustainability initiatives and track metrics.
- Collaborate with sales/marketing for customer strategies.
- Deliver projects on time (capabilities, launches, mergers).
- Support the Market Lead in transformation efforts.
About you
- BS/BA in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
- 5+ years' experience in Supply Chain & Logistics, preferably LSP/Freight management.
- Pharma industry experience is a plus.
- Cross-functional project leadership.
- Business acumen ?
- Operational Excellence experience.
- APICS CPIM or CSCP certification preferred.
Skills:
- Strong communication , presentation, and stakeholder management.
- Data analysis and solution-oriented recommendations.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and problem-solving.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in SAP and digital dashboards (Tableau, BI, IQVIA).
