Job Description:

The Bell Person position is responsible for performing the duties of both the hotel door and hotel bell positions

Essential duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Greets arriving and departing guests
  • Assists with transporting baggage and personal belongings
  • Assists with obtaining transportation for Guests when requested

Qualifications:

  • High School, GED, or equivalent required
  • Minimum one (1) year of hotel bell/door experience desired
  • Must have the ability to use good judgment in stressful situations
  • Must have a willingness to learn all Table Games offered at the Casino
  • Must be able to promote an outgoing, friendly customer oriented personality at all times
  • Must possess exceptional Guest service skills
  • Must be able to work a varied schedule, to include nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Conducts themselves in accordance with all Gaming Commission Regulations and Seminole Tribe of Florida departmental policies and procedures
  • Must be willing and able to assist with any Guest or Staff Member request in a consummately professional, positive, and proactive manner
  • Must be able to provide clear and concise directions and information to hotel guests

Work Environment:

  • Duties and responsibilities are typically performed in the hotel and back of house of the casino, which can be faced-paced. Also, there may be times where you will need to be on the Casino Floor or pass through this area. On the Casino Floor, you may be exposed to casino-related
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, talk or hear; and taste or smell. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
  • Must be able to work standing/walking for long periods of time and in various weather conditions
