Starting pay is $20/hour. We pay more based on experience and education. We also pay more for current CNAs and offer CEUs to keep CNA active while working as a BSS.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Provide services to address the wants and needs of people with developmental disabilities, which may include:
- Supporting personal goals
- Administering medications
- Planning and preparing meals
- Assisting with activities of daily living
- Transporting to and from day program and community outings
- Reinforcing therapies, including speech, behavioral support, and physical therapy
- Ensuring all needs are addressed in a respectful manner with dignity and personal choice
- Completing and maintaining required documentation on a web-based system
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Ability to be certified in enhanced behavioral intervention
- Valid driver's license
- Current automobile insurance
- Ability to pass registry and background checks
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds as needed
- Ability to use verbal and physical intervention to redirect and/or to complete an emergency safety intervention with a person who is physically aggressive or self-abusive
- Two years of related experience or a degree/certification related to behavioral health preferred.

- Full-time or part-time hours available
- Days 7a-3p
- Evenings 3p-11p
- Overnights 11p-7a
- All shifts require working every other weekend
