BCBA - Hourly

WCMHS is seeking a Behavior Consultant that makes a measurable difference in the lives of children and youth facing significant emotional and behavioral challenges, helping them gain stability, confidence, and the skills needed to succeed at home, in school, and in their communities.

In this highly impactful hourly role, you’ll turn evidence-based ABA practices into meaningful change by designing thoughtful, individualized behavior supports and guiding the adults who implement them every day. Through close collaboration with families, educators, and clinical teams, the Behavior Specialist helps reduce barriers to learning, strengthen positive behaviors, and create environments where young people can thrive. We are open to working with consultants on an hourly basis to fill current needs at high flexibility. Pay is commensurate with experience for BCBA's.

Summary of Duties


  • Conduct and direct behavioral assessments for referred children and youth under the supervision of a BCBA or Senior Clinical staff
  • Develop, implement, monitor, and revise individualized behavior support plans
  • Manage or co-manage the behavioral planning components for up to 10 assigned cases
  • Train and supervise staff in the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of behavior plans
  • Provide ongoing consultation to WCMHS case managers and interdisciplinary team members
  • Provide consultation and guidance to families as directed

Compensation and Benefits

WCMHS provides a comprehensive benefits package including health, dental, vision, retirement, and a generous paid time off package including flexible holidays and 12 vacation days in year one.

The starting pay range for this position is $32.69 - $35.77 per hour

Qualifications

Summary of Qualifications

  • Experience working with children and youth who present significant emotional and behavioral challenges
  • Knowledge of Applied Behavior Analysis principles and their practical application
  • Experience working in school settings is preferred
  • Ability to assess behavior, develop data-driven plans, and adjust interventions based on outcomes
  •  Valid driver’s license, excellent driving record, and access to a safe, reliable, insured vehicle is required
  • The ability to deliver services and complete treatment notes in English

 

Workplace Conditions

Work takes place in a school and community settings. Frequent transportation of clients in one's own vehicle. This role requires some lifting up to 50lbs and ability to apply restraints to clients within agency training and guidance.
