Manage the collegiate recovery program with the goal of offering supportive services to students as they pursue their academic, professional, and personal goals. This individual will serve as the first point of contact for the project to students, faculty and staff. This position works directly under the supervision of the Principal Investigators of the BC ROAR Program and assists with carrying out important operational duties and planning/organizing of program activities. Benedict College’s program will follow the national model of a collegiate recovery program within a campus culture that reinforces the decision to engage in a lifestyle free from substance use. The Program Coordinator will facilitate BC-ROAR’s adoption of the Recovery of Care principles as well as the Language of Recovery philosophy.
QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Social Work or related field.
· Comfortable working with diverse groups of faculty, staff, and students.
· Excellent Time-management skills
· Ability to work independently.
· Proficient in MS Office
