About the Program:

The BBVA CIB NEW GENERATION PROGRAM 2026 is seeking recent graduates eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the world of finance. Join us to drive business success while committing to sustainability and global transformation.

Program Highlights:

  • Rotational Experience: You will rotate through key areas and roles, gaining hands-on experience and embarking on a journey of personal and professional development alongside top finance professionals.

  • Global Experience: The program offers the opportunity to collaborate with colleagues from around the world, providing a global perspective and exposure to international markets and cross-border business.

  • International rotation: Based on performance and business requirements, an international rotation may be offered during the program.

  • Duration: The program lasts 12 months, starting with an immersive onboarding experience to provide a global understanding of the CIB environment.

  • Post-Program Role: Upon completing the rotational year, you will transition into a permanent role within a specific CIB team that aligns with BBVA's business needs, your skillset, and your career goals.

Key Details:

  • Contract Type: Permanent position.

  • Start Date: Between July and September 2026 (flexible to suit you).

Potential Areas of rotation (based on Business needs and candidate preference):

  • Investment Banking and Finance: Engage with experts in investment banking, delivering long-term financing solutions and strategic advisory services to major global corporations and institutions.

  • Global Markets: Collaborate with specialists to structure, originate, and distribute financial products, helping clients manage risk profiles and adapt to dynamic global markets.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for dynamic individuals who possess the following essential skills and qualifications:

Academic & Experience

  • Recent graduates or students nearing completion of a Bachelor’s degree, with an outstanding academic record (graduating between 2024 and June 2026, inclusive).

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English (C1 level required).

  • Fluency in Italian (minimum B2 level required).

  • Additional languages are a plus.

Mindset & Interests

  • A genuine interest in Corporate & Investment Banking and a passion for learning in a global, multicultural setting.

  • Possess a global mindset with an interest in gaining international exposure.

  • Enthusiasm for new technologies and innovation.

  • We highly value empathy as a key skill, both for understanding and addressing clients' needs and for fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.

Candidates must demonstrate the right to work in Italy at the interview stage.

Timeline of the recruitment process:

The selection process for the program follows these steps:

Application Submission:

  • Upload your updated CV.

  • Attach a copy of your academic transcript (academic record) for your Bachelor's Degree. This document is essential to proceed with the application.

Online Assessment: Complete a blended online assessment, which includes Psycho-technical and English tests.

Talent Acquisition Interview: Interview with the Talent Acquisition team (Talent & Culture).

CIB Areas Interview: Interview with representatives from the CIB areas.

Final Communication: Selected candidates will be notified.

Key Dates:

  • Application Deadline: February, 17. 

  • Program Start: The program is scheduled to begin between July and September 2026, accommodating the candidate's preferred start date.
