Core One is seeking a Battle Staff C4I Specialist to support the program. This position requires an active Secret clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility. This position is contingent upon contract award. 

Responsibilities:  

  • Lead the development of scripting of C4I products in support of operational vignettes and provide academic instruction in the BST Program that coach, mentor, and train MSOC, SOTF and CJSOTF Commanders and staffs in the art and science of Mission Command.
  • Support the development of scripting operational vignettes tailored to current and future C4I requirement for Special Operations Forces and align to Joint Force integration and interoperability.
  • Identify and integrate internal and external C4I readiness that supports BST exercises and operational plans involving MARSOC major subordinate organizations.
  • Analyzes and interprets USSOCOM, USMC, Office of the Secretary of Defense (OSD) and other Services communication regulations, directives, technical and doctrinal publications.  Evaluates applicability of these documents for MARSOC’s major subordinate commands in training/exercise units.

Requirements:

  • 10-year prior military service.
  • Experience in the management, training, planning and support regarding all SOF peculiar communication equipment.
  • Coordinate and de-conflict C4I assets and airtime as necessary with MARSOC G6 and SOCOM J6, TSOC J6 and other SOF units.
  • Experience in operational environment C4I deployed networks.
  • Experience coordinating TACSAT, SOCOM Ku, DISA Ka.
  • Experience with tactical C2 and common operating picture systems.
  • Possess a thorough understanding of SOF capabilities, support, and operations.
  • Possess an understanding to manage data systems and spectrum operations.
  • Experience in the SOF deployable Node family of systems and Global Broadcast Services (GBS) family of systems.
  • Background in digital force protection.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
  • Must have an active Secret security clearance with TS/SCI Eligibility and posses and maintain a valid U.S. driver’s license

Preferred Additional Qualifications: 

  • Experience conducting training using simulations, such as Virtual Battlespace 3 (VBS3) or VBS4.
  • Possess a Bachelor’s degree.
  • Experience working multi-domain and system of systems integration.
  • Experience as a military instructor and additional training as a digital master gunner, battle staff operations, simulation operations, or in command post operations.
  • Experience with Command Post Computing Environment (CPCE), Command Post of the Future (CPOF), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Capabilities Release (JCR), Force Battle Command Brigade and Below (FBCB2) Joint Battle Command – Platform (JBC-P), or Tactical Mission Command (TMC) servers.
  • Work experience in planning, development, and execution of a Joint National Training Capability (JNTC) accredited or service level exercise program.
