We currently have an opportunity for a permanent full-time Aircraft Maintenance Engineer Apprentice in Halifax.
Job DescriptionThe Apprentice will be reporting to the Supervisory Base AME, and their duties include:
- Assist the team in performing aircraft maintenance.
- Assuring compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Organizing and maintaining the hangar and support equipment.
- Performing related duties as assigned by supervisor.
- Must have graduated from a Transport Canada-Approved Basic training course and have gained at least 18-months credit towards their M-rated AME license.
- Previous aircraft maintenance experience an asset. (Helicopter maintenance experience preferred).
- Must be able to obtain Access to Controlled Goods authority and a Restricted Area Identity Card (RAIC) for airport airside access.
- Must have the legal right to work in Canada. (This position is not available for sponsorship).
- Must be organized and a self-starter.
- Must be customer focused and be a team player.
- Must have good communication skills and a positive attitude.
- Must reside in or be willing to relocate to Halifax.

Skills Required
