THE JOB / Baseball Sales & Marketing Trainee

Are you a hard-working and focused individual who is interested in a career in sports marketing? This role will provide you with hands-on experience in talent marketing. The position is remote, and is a paid part-time, (20 hours per week), temporary position.

Who we’re looking for:

• You are a current student or recent graduate 
• You are highly Proficient with Microsoft Office (including Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Graphic design experience a plus
• You have experience in sales or marketing outreach, business development, cold calling, and research
• You are very organized with a strong attention to detail
• Strong interest in baseball preferred
• You have proven experience in positions requiring discretion, judgment, tact, and poise
• You have the ability to work under deadlines

The work you’ll do…

• Provide administrative support to the marketing team by compiling and organizing data, managing existing marketing deals, researching new leads, and scheduling meetings/calls.
• Conduct research on NIL marketing trends and identify new opportunities for client partnerships.
• Build and maintain target lists of brands for potential marketing collaborations with clients.
• Proactively reach out to marketing leads via phone and email to explore new business opportunities.
• Research specific markets and brands to enhance marketing strategies and client positioning.
• Develop and coordinate presentation materials for internal meetings, pitches, and sales efforts.
• Manage and facilitate requests for the Creative and Legal teams to ensure smooth campaign execution.
• Respond promptly to client requests, handling inquiries related to marketing, appearances, logistics, special requests, travel arrangements, and other client services.
• Organize, maintain, and update key client and marketing information files for efficient access and workflow.
