Help Build Exceptional Before & After School Programs for Local Youth

We're looking for a highly organized, solutions-oriented BASE Program Implementation Specialist to help power our Before and After School Enrichment (BASE) programs across multiple locations throughout our community.

As the BASE Program Implementation Specialist, you'll play a critical role in ensuring our school-age programs run smoothly, efficiently, and safely. You'll coordinate logistics, manage resources, support staff, analyze program data, and help create the operational foundation that allows children and families to have outstanding YMCA experiences.

What You'll Do
Program Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate daily operational systems supporting multiple BASE program sites
- Manage program materials, equipment, and supplies across locations
- Monitor inventory and oversee purchasing, distribution, maintenance, and replacement of resources
- Maintain organized, safe, and welcoming program environments
Administrative & Financial Support
- Track attendance, absences, and program records
- Support budgeting processes, purchasing, invoicing, and expense tracking
- Maintain accurate operational documentation and reporting systems
- Identify efficiencies and recommend process improvements
Technology & Data Management
- Support staff with devices, software platforms, and communication tools
- Collect and analyze operational data to support decision-making and continuous improvement
- Identify challenges and provide actionable recommendations to leadership
Program Quality & Compliance
- Ensure compliance with YMCA standards and state licensing requirements
- Support staffing needs as necessary to maintain safety and licensing ratios
- Promote safe, inclusive, and high-quality youth experiences
- Follow all youth protection policies, mandated reporting requirements, and abuse prevention practices

Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum two years of experience in program operations, administration, youth programs or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Experience with data tracking, reporting, and administrative systems.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Workspace, and database management systems.
- Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record and ability to operate YMCA vehicles.
- Ability to meet all YMCA and state licensing background check requirements.
- Passionate about serving youth and families, with a commitment to the YMCA mission.
- Strong communication skills with youth and adults is essential.
- Ability to relate effectively to diverse groups of people from all social and economic segments of the community.
- Commitment to inclusion and compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
- Within 30 days of hire include completion of: Child Abuse Prevention for Supervisory Staff; CPR; First Aid; AED; Bloodborne Pathogens; TB test; MERIT background check, provide MMR vaccine records, Food Handler Permit.
- 30 Hour STARS School Age Basic Training required; within 90 days of hire.
