Job Description
- Creation and maintenance of project plans
- Meeting project deliverable deadlines and milestones
- Managing assigned projects to completion
- Team communications
- Identify and provide critical target dates to stakeholders
- Tracking updates, action items, issues and other requests for Division leadership and managing related tasks to close-out.
- Support and assistance with select external event planning
- Developing internal communications projects and products such as SharePoint sites and content, presentations, and management initiatives
- Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.
- A well-rounded, flexible and energetic individual is critical for this position.
- Demonstrate experience in managing program schedules
- Demonstrated experience providing advice to senior government officials.
- Demonstrated experience in working with teams with a variety of backgrounds.
- Demonstrated experience in assisting with coordinating collaborations with other federal government agencies, industry, and international organizations.
- Event planning/management experience strongly preferred
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience and a master's degree with a major in business administration, public administration, or public health.
- Prior experience working with government institutions or biopharmaceutical industry experience considered beneficial.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or equivalent beneficial, but not required.

- Demonstrated experience providing advice to senior government officials.

This role requires up to 2 days a week in Washington. DC.
