Job Description

• Manage, maintain, and monitor Linux servers and applications, including system updates, patching, and configuration management;
• Perform regular system and security audits, vulnerability assessments, and recommend appropriate mitigation strategies;
• Proactively identify and resolve system performance issues, ensuring high availability and minimal downtime;
• Provide technical support and guidance to users and other IT staff, including troubleshooting and resolving complex issues;
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing;
• Participate in on-call rotations and provide after-hours support as needed. 

Qualifications

• Working experience in Linux system administration (CentOS, RedHat) and/or UNIX (HP-UX, AIX, Solaris);
• Experience with automation and scripting tools like Python and Bash;
• Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, Openstack) and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift):
• Solid command-line knowledge;
• Experience with configuration management tools and version control systems (Bitbucket/Git)
• Hands on Ansible (plus);
• Expert Web Application Servers – Weblogic is a plus;
• Knowledge of TCP/IP, LDAP and IPV4/IPV6 (desirable);
• Detail-oriented and highly analytical skills;
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal;
• French is a plus.
