About the Opportunity
The Instructional Assistants’ roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Daily Classroom Support: Providing support to teachers in the classroom with 1-1support for students, distributing materials, behavioral support as needed and any additional support a teacher may need
- Supporting weekly with field trips: Carrying out set roles and responsibilities as assigned by the Recreational Coordinator.
- Lunchtime Support: Walking students over to Smith Hall for daily lunch, monitoring lunchroom behaviors, walking students back.
- Support with Daily Sports- Actively participating in sports with students as assigned by the Recreation Coordinator; walk with students to and from the various facilities.
- Attend Weekly Staff Meetings
