We are seeking an experienced Backup and Storage Engineer to manage and optimize enterprise storage and backup environments. The ideal candidate will ensure high availability, data protection, and disaster recovery readiness across the IT infrastructure.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage, maintain, and optimize storage systems and backup solutions
Configure and monitor SAN/NAS environments
Implement and manage backup, replication, and archiving policies
Ensure data protection, disaster recovery (DR), and business continuity
Administer Windows Server environments and Active Directory
Perform system health checks, monitoring, and performance tuning
Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and storage-related issues
Maintain accurate technical documentation and procedures
Collaborate with internal IT teams to improve infrastructure efficiency
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
Minimum 7+ years of experience in IT infrastructure management
Strong expertise in SAN/NAS storage and archiving solutions
Hands-on experience with backup tools (Data Domain, Networker)
Proficiency in:
Windows Server & Active Directory
Virtualization platforms (VMware, VxRail, Hyper-V)
Experience with infrastructure monitoring tools
Solid understanding of Disaster Recovery (DR) & Business Continuity
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Arabic speaker is required
Saudi-based candidates preferred
