We are currently seeking a Backup and Disaster Recovery Specialist (ITSCM) to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring data integrity and availability through robust backup solutions and disaster recovery strategies. Your expertise will help minimize downtime and protect critical business information.
Main Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain backup and disaster recovery solutions in line with business requirements and industry best practices.
- Conduct regular testing of disaster recovery plans and backup processes to ensure effectiveness and reliability.
- Monitor and report on backup operations and restore processes, addressing any issues as they arise.
- Work collaboratively with IT teams to develop data retention policies and procedures.
- Provide training and support to staff on backup and recovery processes and tools.
- Keep abreast of advancements in backup and recovery technologies, recommending improvements as necessary.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Are welcome JR, MID or SR profiles with experience in disaster recovery planning, business continuity strategies and high documentation habilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills to work with various stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Intermediate to advanced proficiency in English, both spoken and written.
