Overall Responsibilities:
Public Consulting Group, LLC. is currently seeking a Background Check Specialist. This position will be part of the team responsible for PCG’s federal revenue management for the Wisconsin Department of Children & Families (DCF), the agency that manages foster care and other child welfare activities in Wisconsin.
The Background Check Specialist conducts and evaluates criminal history, child abuse/neglect registry, and other screening checks to ensure that individuals such as foster parents, caregivers, or providers meet safety and licensing standards required for working with children.
An ideal candidate will be a team player with excellent attention to detail and organizational skills who is interested in supporting the work of state government and/or human service organizations.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Runs statewide and Milwaukee County Child abuse or neglect background checks on behalf of in-state and out-of-state governmental agencies.
- Populates management reports and dashboards.
- Creates and maintains regular and ad hoc reporting as assigned.
- Develops schedules to meet deliverable deadlines for all assignments.
- Collaborates with management on means of improving efficiency.

Compensation:
Compensation for roles at Public Consulting Group varies depending on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the specific office location, role, skill set, and level of experience. As required by applicable law, PCG provides a reasonable range of compensation for this role. In addition, PCG provides a range of benefits for this role, including medical and dental care benefits, 401k, PTO, parental leave, bereavement leave.
Range: $46,100 - $55,000
