Backend Software Engineers – Colorado Springs

Annual Salary Range: $75,000 - $150,000

In-Depth Engineering is seeking multiple Backend Software Engineers to support our work on the CommandIQ program. These roles are full-time onsite positions at our customer site in Colorado Springs.

Essential Duties:
- Support Technical Interchange Meetings
- Support Agile Release Train Scrums and Planning Sessions
- Decompose higher-level roadmap features into actionable work items
- Design, Implement, and integrate/test software features
- Perform peer reviews for fellow software engineers and debug issues as they arise
- Participate in technical discussions to define/solve overarching software architecture needs
- Collaborate with cross-functional peers to better understand project requirements and customer/stakeholder needs
Basic Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen with a valid passport
- Active Secret clearance
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or other STEM degre
- 2+ Years of professional experience
- Experience/Familiarity with the following: Rust (or C), Java
- Exposure to backend containerization concepts using Docker
- Exposure/Familiarity with gRPC for Framework development
- Direct experience working in the the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Agile Methodologies & Tools
- Experience with container management using Kubernetes/Helm
- Experience in a Full-Stack engineering role
- Experience with Gitlab CI/CD Development experience following REST guidelines
- Previous software scripting experience in Java, Python and automation framework experience (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright)• Framework development experience using gRPC
- Backend containerization experience using Docker
- Experience with container management using Kubernetes/Helm
- Development experience following REST guidelines
- Experience integrating and managing automated test suite into Gitlab CI/CD pipeline
