Intel is looking for a highly talented and motivated student to join our Product Data and Analytics (PDA) team.

If you're interested in a career as a backend software engineer, building scalable and robust systems, this is the position for you. We're developing a state-of-the-art data lakehouse, designed to help managers and data professionals across Intel to make better data-driven decisions. It's a high-scale SaaS, leveraging a microservices architecture, deployed on public cloud and K8S, as well as various managed services such as Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Elastic, Databricks, CosmosDB and others.

As a student, to succeed in this position, you will:

• Learn new technologies and best practices from senior engineers and independently

• Own and develop features end-to-end, from design to production

• Deliver on time, with high quality

• Provide L3 support for production issues

Job location: Haifa

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or Master's student of science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related discipline

• At least 3 semesters left until graduation

• Availability to work 2-3 days a week (from office)

• Team player, growth mentality, sense of ownership and urgency

• Experience with Python, C#, JAVA or C++

• Proven understanding of OOP principles

• Familiarity with GIT

Bonus Qualifications:

Extracurricular software development activities, e.g. open-source contributions, participation in hackathons or other independent projects, etc.

Work Model for this Role
