Blue Yonder is a leading provider of digital supply chain solutions. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Software Engineer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and maintenance of software applications that support our cutting-edge supply chain solutions. You will have the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic and challenging environment, working alongside experienced engineers on impactful projects.

Scope/Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer I, you will be responsible for writing, testing, and debugging software code, following established coding standards and best practices. You will work closely with senior engineers to learn and contribute to the development of new features and enhancements to existing applications. You will also participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.

What You'll Do:

• Develop, test, and debug software code using Python and other relevant technologies.
• Participate in the design and implementation of software solutions.
• Write unit tests and conduct thorough code reviews.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects.
• Collaborate with other engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
• Learn and adapt to new technologies and best practices.
• Contribute to the improvement of our software development processes.

What we are looking for: 
 

Required Minimum Skills

• 2-3 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Strong proficiency in Python.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, engineering or related.

Technical Skills

• Solid understanding of software engineering principles and methodologies.
• Experience with object-oriented programming and design patterns.
• Familiarity with relational databases and SQL.
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently 1 and as part of a team.  
• A strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment.

The salary range for this position is $85,788 - $108,212.

The salary range information provided, reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data.  Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.  Individual salary will be commensurate with skills, experience, certifications or licenses and other relevant factors.  In addition, this role will be eligible to participate in either the annual performance bonus or commission program, determined by the nature of the position.
