We're looking for an experienced Senior Backend Engineer to join our Integration team. Reporting to the Manager, Software Engineering, you'll be responsible for:
- Developing and maintain high-quality, scalable backend services within a microservices architecture using Java /Spring Boot and Python & participate in design from scratch to production
- Delivering high quality features for our high-scale web environment
- Monitoring the performance and cost of the services in production
- Staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices to improve our technology stack and development processes
- Integrating with other team members (backend/frontend/product/UX) & mentor junior engineers and share your expertise with the team
What We're Looking for (Minimum Qualifications)
- Must have 4+ years of experience in software engineering with Java
- Must be proficient in in a microservices environment, including AWS, Kubernetes, SQS, and Tilt
What Will Make You Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Experience with client-side development, using React
- Proficiency in various data stores such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Snowflake, and Elastic
